The companies that form part of the ZINET MEDIA GROUP in Spain (hereinafter Zinet Media), as publishers of Magazines and owners of their websites, expose in this section the Corporate Privacy Policy of the group companies, regarding the personal information that the user may provide in any of their Magazines and/or Zinet Media websites. This Privacy Policy may vary depending on legislative requirements or self-regulation, so users are advised to visit it periodically.

The Privacy Policy of Zinet Media is governed by compliance with current legislation on the protection of personal data: REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter, RGPD), and by Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), as well as by Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights. At Zinet Media we are committed to ensuring the privacy of personal data obtained through our corporate portal, magazines and/or websites, guaranteeing and protecting user data in the same way as information obtained by any other means owned by the group. This policy, taking into account the principle of active responsibility, will be applicable in the event that users decide to fill in any of the forms in any of its Magazines and/or websites where personal data is collected, without prejudice to what is indicated in the "Privacy Clause" applicable to each specific form.

For what PURPOSE do we process your data?

The personal data processed will be those provided by the user through the different online forms or during the purchase process of any of our magazines for the purposes listed below:
  1. Manage the subscriptions and purchases made by the user through Zinet Media's web pages and other capture channels.
  2. Guarantee to the registered user the access and use of their user area in the corresponding web pages.
  3. The sending of periodic newsletters to inform about contents, news, novelties and offers of interest to the user, by any channel including electronic ones, enumerating in an enunciative and not limitative way the following: electronic mail, sending of SMS and/or MMS messages, multiplatform messaging services, chat or any type of analogous communication.

  5. To send offers and advertising information about products and services both our own and those of Zinet Media's third party collaborators. This information belongs to the following sectors: Telecommunications, Finance, Insurance, Leisure and Tourism, Beauty, Fashion and Accessories, Consumer Goods, Distribution, Training and Culture, Sports, Automotive, Energy and Water, NGOs, Toy shops, Travel, Health, Public and Private Services and Gambling.
  6. Launch of loyalty actions through different channels.
  7. Conduct opinion polls among registered users who access it.
  8. Manage the participation of the interested party in draws and/or promotions organized by any of Zinet Media's magazines or by any of the collaborating companies sponsoring contests.
In order to be able to offer you products and services according to your interests, we may draw up a "commercial profile" based on the information provided. No automated decisions will be made based on this profile.


What is the data retention period?

In compliance with the principle of limitation of the storage period, data collected by Zinet Media are processed only for the time necessary and for the specific purposes for which they were collected. For all of the above and in generic terms, Zinet Media will keep your data for the duration of the contractual relationship (in the case of subscription or participation in a contest or draw) and thereafter, only for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations and responsibilities arising from such processing in accordance with applicable law. Once these statutes of limitations have expired, your data will be deleted. On the other hand, with regard to the processing of your data for promotional purposes, or the sending of information or newsletters, we will keep the data until we receive no opposition against it.


Data source

The data processed in ZINET MEDIA have been provided by the interested party. Should you decide to subscribe to any of the Magazines edited by ZINET MEDIA GROUP or register on any of its Websites, you will be asked for a series of essential personal data in order to manage the products or services requested (name, surname, email, postal address, etc.). Likewise, you may be required to voluntarily provide a series of additional data for the purposes of information and marketing of offers, services or activities related to them and limited to the activities and services of ZINET MEDIA GROUP companies.


What is the LEGAL BASE of the treatment of the data?

The legal basis for the processing of data for the purposes a) and g) of the previous section is the need for the processing for the correct execution of a contract for the provision of services. For all other purposes, the legal basis shall be both the consent that may have been requested from the user and the legitimate interest of Zinet Media in order to better satisfy the needs and interests of readers, users and subscribers. This legitimate interest absolutely respects the right to the protection of personal data, honor and personal and family privacy of the user and is protected not only by Art. 6 of the RGPD but also by Recital 47 of the same legal text in relation to the actions of sending advertising since we understand that the stated purpose is within reasonable expectations based on the relationship that the user maintains with Zinet Media. In any case, none of these legal bases prevents the user from exercising his right of opposition if he so wishes, through the following address: derechosarco@zinetmedia.es without this opposition conditioning, in any way, his relationship with us.


Who are the DESTINATORS of the data?

Zinet Media does not transfer personal data to third parties, except under a legal obligation or prior agreement with the user. No third party may in any case directly access your personal data without your express consent for each occasion. On the other hand, although they do not involve the transfer of data, we inform you that Zinet Media has contracted suppliers (graphic arts, messaging, advertising agencies or telemarketing) for the postal sending of magazines, and for the management of competitions or raffles, which we use to provide us with services, and which may need access to your information; however, these suppliers manage the data for the sole purpose of providing the contracted service, following our instructions and without being able to use them for any other purpose.


Are there INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS?

In some of the processing carried out with your data there may be international transfers of the same to countries outside the Member States of the European Union. Zinet Media has contracted some services from technology providers located in the United States that have the appropriate guarantees and safeguards to preserve your privacy as they are covered by the "Privacy Shield" Agreement, ensuring an adequate level of protection of personal data.


What are your RIGHTS?

In the following, we identify your rights concerning personal data: information, access, rectification, deletion, limitation of processing, opposition and portability.


How can you exercise any of the above rights?

Users have recognised and may exercise their rights by means of written communication addressed to ZINET MEDIA GROUP in Alcalá, 79 - 1ºA - 28009 Madrid, identifying themselves and specifying their request, and providing a photocopy of their DNI or equivalent document. They may also send an e-mail to the address derechosarco@zinetmedia.es together with the documentation mentioned above. We also inform you that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent control authority (Spanish Data Protection Agency) if you consider that any type of violation has occurred in relation to the processing of your personal data.


Your collaboration is important

At Zinet Media we strive to continuously monitor, within our means, the correct use of the personal data for which we are responsible, both on our part and on the part of our suppliers. For this reason, we ask you to notify us without delay so that we can take appropriate action if you become aware or suspect that we or our suppliers indicated above are misusing your personal information. Data security measures

The ZINET MEDIA GROUP companies undertake to adopt the necessary technical and organisational measures to guarantee the security of personal data and avoid their alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, taking into account the state of technology, in accordance with the provisions of the RGPD and the still valid LOPD and its RLOPD. Even though ZINET MEDIA GROUP companies cannot guarantee the absolute impregnability of the Internet network and therefore the violation of data by fraudulent access to them by third parties, if they undertake to carry out the risk analysis required by law and the impact assessments that may be necessary.


Use of Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded to your computer's browser, mobile phone, tablet or any other internet access device when you visit a website. The websites of ZINET MEDIA GROUP companies use cookies. ZINET MEDIA GROUP companies will never use these data for purposes that are not appropriate to the age of the minor, and will provide parents or guardians with the possibility of exercising their rights to access, cancel, rectify and oppose the data of their children or guardians.
